The quest journal shows where to go
The journal used to guide you only through daily quests. Now it also guides you through job exams and skill quests.
- Job exams. Each exam is split into steps. An archer goes to the Willows for trunks and sees the score (0/25). A thief goes through Mr. Irrelevant to the mushroom farm and back. A swordman runs the obstacle course, a mage looks for the solution, a merchant delivers a parcel, an acolyte visits their pilgrim.
- Skill quests. Arrow Crafting now has 12 companions, covering every first job: Fatal Blow, Energy Coat, Arrow Repel, Holy Light, Crazy Uproar, Cart Revolution, Sand Attack, Find Stone and more. They are listed in the «Available quests» tab with the required Job Lv and the items to bring.
- Where to get an item. The journal counts what you already have («Resin 5/20»). If the item is sold, it leads you to the shop. If not, it leads you to the nearest map with a monster that drops it, and on that map a «?» marks the nearest such monster. Once everything is collected, the journal leads you back to the teacher.
- When you move to another map the route is recalculated and the target marker moves with you.

Pearl for Crazy Uproar drops from Mastering, and Grape Juice for Cart Revolution from Dragon Fly. Both are mini-bosses, and the journal used to skip them. Now it suggests them. Soon sea otters will appear on the Comodo coast, and they drop Pearl too.
The juicer
Marianne lives upstairs in the inn in east Prontera. Her son Morrison eats only meat and won't touch fruit. Bring Meat and show it to Morrison, but don't give it to him. Then talk to Marianne, and she will remember where juice is made. The quest is available from Base Lv 10.
Juice is made by Marx Hansen in the kitchen of Payon palace. He needs 1 fruit and 1 Empty Bottle, and charges 3 zeny per bottle. You can make «as many as possible» or enter a number, up to 100 bottles. Apple, Banana, Carrot and Grape Juice no longer have to be farmed from monsters.
If you do feed Morrison the meat, his mother gets angry. For 10 pieces he gives you 3 Candy and a Candy Cane, and you can still finish the quest afterwards.

Payon palace is a new map with five doors from the town. The Payon chief and the guards live there. The chief tells stories about Payon, the cave, archers and hunters, but only to characters of Base Lv 31 and above.
Bosses break gear
- Breaking. Baphomet, Doppelganger and Orc Hero can break armor, Phreeoni and Ogretooth a helm, Orc Lord a shield. Eddga's bomb sometimes breaks a weapon. Axes, maces, staves and books don't break. Golem, Cornutus, Peco Ears and similar cards protect an item from breaking.
- A broken item is unequipped. In the inventory it is reddish, with a cross and «(broken)». You can't equip it. You can't store it, put it in a cart, mail it or sell it at an auction either: repair it first. Selling it to an NPC is allowed.
- Repair. Master Grendal in Prontera, and the Repairmen in Alberta and Morroc. 5000 zeny per item, everything is repaired at once.
- Full Strip. Moonlight Flower takes off your weapon, shield, armor and helm, and you can put them back on only after 1.5–2.5 minutes. The status icons show how long is left. The items themselves don't break.

With this update all 117 monster skills from the rAthena table have a working handler.
Steal tells you why it failed
Players wrote that Steal uses SP but never steals anything. The skill works as in rAthena, but at low levels the chance is small. And the game showed the same «Steal failed» for every failure.
Now you see the reason: the monster has already been robbed, you can't steal from bosses, stealing is not allowed on this map, the monster has nothing to steal, or you were simply unlucky. In the last case the game shows your chance against this monster with your DEX and Steal level. Below 50 % it also reminds you that the chance grows with DEX and skill level.
Teleport indoors
Fly Wings and Teleport no longer work in houses in Alberta, Geffen, Izlude, Morroc and Payon, in Payon palace, in Geffen tower and on the thief exam mushroom farm. Before, only Prontera and the swordman exam course had this rule. Following the rAthena lists, you also can't memo a Warp Portal point in Geffen and Morroc dungeons and pyramids, on some fields and in the monastery. Want to leave a house? Use the door.
Ruwach
The acolyte's Ruwach now has an animation. While it lasts, three blue lights circle the acolyte, and everyone nearby sees them. Before, Ruwach had no animation at all.
The client will offer to update when you start it. Thanks to everyone who writes to «Report a bug» and on the forum!
